Beauty is an existential need, a fundamental artistically and anthropologically phenomenon - but why are we so easily tempted by the superficiality and cheesiness of today's beauty industry? Why do we let ourselves be enchanted by the effect of transforming and modulating ourselves? The work questions the interpretation of the ambivalent concept of beauty and uses symbols and codes to cultivate our bodies. The work transforms materials from their context into new physical pieces, combining into hybrid beings: As an anonymous, posthuman portrait that is nothing more and nothing less than surface ︎︎︎
